Making a Home & Contents Insurance Claim

If you need to make a claim on your Buildings & Contents policy, please take the following steps to get things moving straight away:

• Check your policy certificate and Policy Document to see whether or not the event is covered
• If you are a victim of theft, vandalism or something is lost or damaged away from your home, firstly inform the police and ask for an incident number. It would also be helpful if you have an approximate cost to replace or repair the items you would like to claim for.

• Call our Claims Helpline on 0845 6011 060

  Select Option 1 for Buildings & Contents claims

  • Then select Option 1 again for Household claims
  • Then select Option 2 for Home Emergency claims
  • Then select Option 3 for Legal Assistance claims

We will then register your claim with the details you provide.
