Claims Guidance for Home & Contents Insurance

If you experience loss or damage to your home and contents, please contact us as soon as possible to report the incident, so we can get your claim moving for you.

It would also be helpful if you have an approximate cost to replace or repair the items you would like to claim for.

Theft

If you are a victim of theft, vandalism or something is lost or damaged away from your home, firstly inform the police and ask for an incident number. Please keep this incident number close to hand so you can quote this to us.

Home Emergency

If you have a home emergency then please call our 24hr helpline on 0845 6011 060 and then select Option 2.

DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Limited will then assist you with your home emergency and if necessary will send out a qualified tradesman to help you.
